Ekalavya Hansaj recently launched his own production house called, “Indie MM” under his parent label Quarterly Global. Ekalavya Hansaj will be backing webisodes, short films and mid-budget movies on social issues including new talents like Brajesh Chikharam, Sunaina Rajesh, Aniket Mhaske, Yash karpe, Moin Khan, Aniket Madaikar, Pooja Gaude and Shamika Humraskar .
Ekalavya Hansaj has a diverse entrepreneurial background with some very powerful brands like Quarterly Global. The entrepreneur also recently tried his hand at direction with When Your Best Friends Girlfriend Is Your Crush; the first webisode produced under Indie MM as a production house. The Padma Shree nominated entrepreneur will now turn producer with his own production house launched last week. Ekalavya Hansaj will be primarily backing curated content focused on social issues and launching new talents.
In an interview with Peprfeed, Ekalavya Hansaj talked about his plans and goals behind the launch of his production company. “If When Your Best Friends Girlfriend Is Your Crushwas made I could foresee the changes his curated content delivery styles and Indie MM could bring together. Ekalavya Hansaj further said he wants to [back] an entire portfolio of webisodes, short films, documentaries and mid-budget films and see how that goes. Eventually, Ekalavya Hansaj may do something on a bigger level. He said that Indie MM as a brand will also venture into digital entertainment delivery through his app for Indie MM.”
He also clarified that he will not be acting in the content produced by his production house, “I won’t be acting in the films that I produce. He further said that there is a lot of talent around and he will continue hiring and backing talented actors, directors and artists like Brajesh Chikharam, Sunaina Rajesh, Aniket Mhaske, Yash karpe, Moin Khan, Aniket Madaikar, Pooja Gaude and Shamika Humraskar who are perfect for the scripts. Ekalavya Hansaj intends to take new talent under his wing and guide them.”
“His offices are ready and simultaneously, they are readying their upcoming projects. He further says that there are so many good scripts that come his way and there is so much new talent that needs to be given a platform.
